Mark breaths football through and though, he has dedicated his life to football.
Starting like most young boys Mark played football at every opportunity, at school, before and after school, local football teams. At 15 years old, Mark joined West Bromich Albion as an apprentice. Living away from home as a young boy Mark quickly adapted to the day to day challenges within the world of football. Cleaning football boots, tiding up the changing rooms and being at the beck and call of the professional footballers. The intense and grueling training sessions had a positive impact on Mark. This experience confirmed that Mark had made the right decision to become a professional footballer.
Mark then had an opportunity to play abroad in Hong Kong, New Zealand and Finland. With 4 years experience of overseas football, Mark had prepared himself to challenge for a space within an English squad. It had always been Marks burning ambition to become a professional footballer in the first division ( nowadays know as the premiership).
Birmingham City approached Mark, and without any hesitation Mark signed his first professional contract in England, His ambition was now becoming a reality, even though Mark knew the hard work and reality had yet to come. Mark took his football career very seriously. Training and listening to the coaches always thriving to improve his own game and techniques and dedicating his time and efforts to football. Soon his efforts paid off, he was selected to make his debut for Birmingham. Mark became a regular on the managers (Ron Saunders) team sheet.
